Can't remember the last time you did a victory lap of the living room? Or forgotten why you and your other half agreed to never play video games together? Mario Kart 8 is set to change all that.
With just under a month before it's release, Nintendo's karting king has released one final manic gameplay trailer.
The courses appear more bewildering than ever before: as well as navigating the likes of cows, traffic and an almighty road-pounding Bowser, players will find themselves flung every which-way thanks to the new anti-gravity features.
The latest trailer also hints at the delight of new additions, from unleashing the boomerang flower - a powerup that will return to the driver once they've launched it at nearby foes - to mastering the new quad bike vehicle.
Shiny, bonkers and - importantly - good clean fun, Mario Kart 8 is going to make anyone who owns a Wii U a very popular person.
Mario Kart 8 is out 30 May
