Playwright Rory Mullarkey is carving a reputation for state-of-the-nation epics with a surreal twist, exploring ideas of establishment and revolution.

Pity sees him return to the Royal Court with a strange, darkly funny new play that considers whether the world is really getting worse, whether it matters, and whether we care? 

With a cast including Sophia Di Martino (Amy in Channel 4’s Flowers) and Siobhán McSweeney (Sister Michael in Channel 4’s Derry Girls).
