While there might have been a hefty amount of controversy surrounding a star of Zach Braff's calibre using Kickstarter to fund a new film, it's gone and happened anyway and the new trailer is here to convert the naysayers.
Let's get it out of the way. If you didn't like the Shins-soundtracked indie pondering of Garden State then you're probably not going to find much here. But if, like many, you found something resonant in Braff's last film as a writer/director/actor/caterer then you're in luck.
This carefully assembled first look at Wish I Was Here is undeniably impressive and is mainly focused on showcasing a set of striking images, without a great deal of plot.
In case you're interested in the specifics, the film again sees Braff play an actor who, you know, struggles with the meaning of life and all that. He'll be joined by Kate Hudson, Donald Faison, Mandy Patinkin and all your hard-earned money.
Wish I Was Here hits cinemas on September 19th
