Rejoice. Your days of playing the 5 minute game of "pick apart the tangle" every time you dig out your earphones will soon be over, thanks to Earin.
These tiny buds are the newest, smallest gadget looking to get a word (or beat) in your ear. No wires, no earphone jacks, just pop them in your ears, connect to your music device via Bluetooth and embrace the future like smug hipster.
Unlike the cumbersome one-ear Bluetooth headsets of the early 2000's, these Earin buds are able to exploit new technology that can transmit stereo sound wirelessly (bad news for those of you still rocking your Walkman cassette player). A tiny on-board battery allows for up to three hours of use, which is furthered by the cylindrical carry case that doubles as a portable charger - adding another 3 hours of playback.
You can put in a pre-order on Kickstarter for £119, though you'll have to wait until January 2015 for them to arrive. While we're pretty sure these won't be the only wireless earphones on the market come Christmas (the Dash fitness earphones are a very similar gadget), the future looks set to be blissfully tangle-free.
