You can listen to Beyoncé’s new album Lemonade for free right now – here’s how
Every single newspaper, magazine and website at the moment is dominated by stories and speculation about Beyoncé’s new album Lemonade.
Some have interpreted it as a way for Beyoncé to get back at husband Jay Z for his alleged infidelities; others see it as a fierce critique of the innate racism that runs through the arteries of American society.
But how can you make your own mind up about 'The Album Launch of 2016' when the only way to listen to the thing is either by signing up to Tidal, or paying £13.99 to buy it on iTunes?
Enter the sweet, benevolent, curly-haired angel of radio Annie Mac, who played the album in its entirety last night on her BBC Radio 1 show.
Which means listeners in the UK can listen to her show – which she called the "Lemonade Listening Party" – right now, for free, on iPlayer: here.
The album starts at 01:02:40, and it’ll be available to listen to online for the next 29 days.
Annie Mac, we salute you.
