While the subject of remakes still divides most gamers ("Leave it alone!" versus "Make it shiny!"), most will agree that the new console generation is lacking a hero. There's yet to be a genre-defining, must-buy-it-now, 10/10 experience for the graphics brick you spent the better part of £400 on.
