Brilliant Stop-Motion Film of the Moon Landing Photos
When NASA recently released a whole archive of glorious photos from the Apollo missions, we lost a good few hours of our life dreaming about following in the footsteps of those brave pioneers.
But it turns out that we could have done the whole thing a lot quicker if we'd had the help of Vimeo user Harrisonicus.
He writes "I was looking through the Project Apollo Archive and at one point, I began clicking through a series of pics quickly and it looked like stop motion animation. So, I decided to see what that would look like without me having to click through it. Enjoy!"
The results are wonderful, and made even better by the rather cool backing music of Lift Motif (Kevin MacLeod) and Start Start by Built By Snow - although we'd love to see him knock up a version with the brilliant Go by Public Service Broadcasting - embedded below - and taken from their February album The Race For Space, which chronicled the story of... well, we think you can hazard a guess.
Breathtaking stuff.
