Batman: Arkham Knight was easily one of the best games of 2015.
We spent hours collecting all of the Riddler's trophies, days clearing every alley and arch in the city of villainous scum - dedicating many evenings to completing a game that deserved the devotion. While we were certainly very satisfied when we were done (we needed some fresh air, to be honest), there was a certain feeling of loss. That was it. Game over. No more Arkham games for us to get our gloved fists into.
Like a caped hero swooping in from the shadows comes news that Rocksteady's other great titles - Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City - are set to return in a remade package, Batman: Return to Arkham.
The game will feature all the content of these first two titles, including all previously released DLC, with visual enhancements, upgraded models and environments. There's no word yet on whether they'll feature any new, unseen content.
If you haven't played them before, you're in for a treat - which will arrive on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on 26 July.
