We've had Parking Simulator, we've had Goat Simulator; now, we have a game that really rocks. It's, er, Rock Simulator.
The game, sure to be a stone-cold classic, is currently in development on Steam Greenlight, with its makers claiming that, "for a long time, there has been one game missing from the market, a genuine rock simulator".
They're certainly right about that.
They go on to say that, "this simulator is a rock enthusiast's dream. You can watch beautiful rocks in any location in the world. From grass plains to salt flats, there are dozens of hand designed BEAUTIFUL environments."
While, to us, this is a flawless concept, there has already been criticism, with one person commenting that this was, "not an actual rock sim...advertising is kinda false, its not a actual rock sim, it's a "staring at rock sim". Getting a bit tired of these third person games being advertised as simulators."
We can only hope that there will be a first person mode on the finished game, so you can really get inside the head of a rock.
Stay tuned for developments by visiting Rock Simulator's Steam Greenlight page.
